Fun
in, and out,
of the Sun. . .
|
Fans of the WNBA can catch a game at the Great
Western Forum, which is also where boxing matches
are held.
For baseball fans, the excitement can be caught at
Dodger Stadium, one of the few National League
fields created solely for baseball. Soccer fans can
watch LA’s Major League Soccer (MLS) team , the
Los Angeles Galaxy, play at the Rose Bowl.
While
it may seem impossible at first to find any kind of
natural beauty in the concrete jungle of Los
Angeles, be assured that it does exist. Forests,
beaches, canyons, mountains, and more are all
located in or near Los Angeles, and welcome everyone
from the rugged backpacker to the family on a nature
walk. One of the best things about Los Angeles is
its climate, because it keeps the hiking trails
accessible year round.
What
would Los Angeles be without the beach? In the
summer, sunworshippers from all over flock to the
beach to swim, to sunbathe, to check each other out.
You can surf, cruise down the bike path, splash in
the waves, play some volleyball, have a picnic, or
just hang out. Even when summer’s over and the
seasonal throng has moved out, the weather is
usually still nice enough to kick back at the beach.
